The purpose of the Committee is to formulate a draft budget for consideration and approval by the Executive at an Executive meeting held prior to the Local’s Annual General Meeting. A final budget shall be presented to the membership at the May Annual General Meeting for their approval.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text el_class=”box-border”]The Budget Committee Shall:
- Gather budget recommendations from Local committee chairs;
- Meet to prepare a draft budget;
- Determine fixed and other costs, based on current and past budget year information;
- Ensure that the budget reflects the priorities of the Local.
