1. Advertise the inspector’s positions each year in the newsletter and on the web site, providing an application form and a job description
2. Receive application forms
3. Select all suitable applicants to be interviewed
4. Set up interviews
5. Interview the candidates
6. Select the four successful candidates (one per quadrant)
Points to consider in Selection
• Experience and knowledge in Health and Safety
• Involvement in this and other Unions
• Ability to represent our Union in a positive light to TDSB worker members and administration
• Demonstrated commitment to occasional teaching as a career
